Lately

It's dark. So lately I have been doing a lot of nothing. It's break I can do what I want. Anyways, so ya nothing.. This has left me to make a big deal out of everything that happens in my life. I get all dramatic over absolutely nothing out of boredom but then I catch myself and have to over, and over tell myself this doesn't matter! Dumb things can make me really excited and stoked, like killing someone on halo or getting an eleven kill streak on cod. Then there is the other side like figuring out what I'm going to do that day is all of the sudden really hard to figure out and matters a lot. At first, as you could imagine, this drove me crazy. I didn't want to make things dramatic they would just become exaggerated in my head, obviously not my fault. After a while, I began to enjoy this over exaggeration, it was fun in an way to make things super dramatic, and made me laugh.
(I hope you noticed that this whole post was an example of this).

Xmas

So this Christmas season has been like any other.. but still unique in its oddly annoying ways. I think this was the year when everyone and every club decided to have a grande ugly sweater party or day. Here's the thing, it's a great idea in all and would be fun if everyone actually wore an UGLY sweater... it would be hilarious. However, I have noticed that no one ever really does. This bothers me because people will wear their Christmas sweaters and call it an ugly sweater but both you and I know, it's not ugly and they look great. But they will continue to laugh about it be like oh this is so funny and ugly, they know it's not either. Also, another thing I have notice about this year is that they seem to have started playing Christmas music way too early. Like right after thanksgiving. That's too early. Then with my recent maturity I have realized that people don't really care and love Christmas music and the season, they just want to get money out of it (but isn't that what we all do anyways, get money). So now when I see decorations in stores and Christmas music playing I now know that no one really cares, not even Starbucks. But that doesn't stop me or bother me really, it's just nice to think about sometimes. Then, I just have to mention how often people have to be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas.. It's not about the presents no it's about Jesus. But really we still give and expect to receive presents anyway because we have dug our society into such a big Christmas hole, we can't ever get out of it. What if one year you decided that your whole family would just not give presents... it would be depressing. I don't think that's a bad thing though, we like to give and receive presents and it's nice to have it at the same time every year, but I think we should try to stop masking it under the true meaning of Christmas. Well, anyways I honestly do like this season, and the weather an all so hope you all have a very metal christmas.

Migraines

This complaint has been brought to me very recently, tonight. It has been going on for quite a while, but sometimes I forget how annoying it is. MIGRAINES! See it wouldn't be so stinking annoying if first of all I didn't get them all the time and if they didn't hurt my head and make me miserable and if most of all the medicine didn't make me crazy. Okay, so the meds might not really make me crazy but they do do weird stuff to me. It takes two pills to get rid of one migraine, but each pill contains the amount of caffeine in one cup of coffee, which wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to take them in the middle of the day, when you already had coffee that morning . (yes this happened today and yeah that's why I'm still awake). So I end up staying up late (sleeping all day) and having restless energy till I fall asleep (if I ever do). Funny thing is this doesn't sound much different than everyday of my life! I guess maybe I should just figure out my migraine triggers and avoid them at all cost but that sounds like a lot of work and time that I quite frankly don't have. Also, not to mention they ruined naps for me, GAY! So feel bad for me pray for me I'm not sure I was just bored. ya

Top 10 Albums of 2010

1. Overkill – Ironbound Legendary New Jersey metal mavens, Overkill, deliver an astonishing 15th studio albumIronbound, a delectable thrash frenzy that will kick your teeth through your ass. Overkill is solid, far too underrated, and always unfairly riding in the shadow of East Coast thrash colleague Anthrax.Ironbound is a 10-track blitzkrieg that displays not only the fury, but greater depth than 90% of all thrash and power metal acts out there today.

2. Fear Factory – MechanizeMechanize is the heaviest and most aggressive record from Fear Factory to date. Vocalist Burton C. Bell offers his ballsiest work ever while keeping his signature melodic grace in balance. The intense seven-string (or is he up to eight now?) rhythmic patterns of Cazares leave the listener with facial blisters and a battered-in skull—surely, you must have heard the first single “Powershifter” by now—exemplified on all ten tracks, but especially prominent on the opening title track, “Oxidizer,” and “Fear Campaign”.

3. Avenged Sevenfold –NightmareNightmare contains the best studio material from Avenged Sevenfold to date. This is one that you will still be banging a year from now. With the death of drummer The Rev, Avenged Sevenfold hired Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater (who has since quit Dream Theater because of this…err), literally one of the true all-time greats. One would think that this would throw M. Shadows even further out of his league. However, on the latest Avenged Sevenfold album, Nightmare, M. Shadows owns the mic, killing it, proving that he can stand up and lead this powerful beast.

4. Soulfly – Omen The Brazilian god of doom brings the shit on Soulfly’s latest righteous masterpiece, Omen. Max Cavalera’s guerrilla army of guitar hero Marc Rizzo, bassist Bobby Burns, drummer Joe Nunez, and producer Logan Mader (ex-Machine Head/ex-Soulfly guitarist) attacks mercilessly with 11 brutal cuts of earth pounding grooves and virtuosic riffs.Omen’s energy is relentless from the opening assault of “Bloodbath & Beyond” to the closing spiritual instrumental onslaught of “Soulfly VII” Everything in between is fierce and aggressive, and includes dashes of tribalism that never ceases to devastate.

5. James LaBrie – Static ImpulseLaBrie has done something very special here. Static Impulse is comprised of 12 blistering gems, each of them an absolute killer. Here’s the refreshing kicker: this album is not at all taxing on the listener. In fact, it is a refreshing departure from the progressive style of 8-minute plus cuts. You will not find a better LaBrie album than Static Impulse. He assembled one hell of an army and he sounds better than ever—this record destroys.

6. Iron Maiden – The Final FrontierThe Final Frontier is skull-crushingly brutal. Maiden is a beastly machine that grows stronger and stronger with every new epic masterpiece. This record certainly brings the thunder, about 76 minutes worth in fact. These 10 newsongs contain classic Maiden vibes (“The Alchemist”) as well as dirty conjurations (“Starblind”) heard on more recent releases like Brave New World and Matter of Life and Death. This is another victory for the pioneers and legends of heavy metal. As always with Maiden records, this disc gets better with every listen.

7. Charred Walls of the Damned – Charred Walls of the Damned The sound produced by Charred Walls of the Damned features an exceptional understanding of the classical methodology of heavy metal. Bycombining and highlighting the best components of thrash, power, and progressive this quasi-supergroup delivers a punishing assortment of songs, such as “Blood on Wood” and the opening track and first single “Ghost Town.” Leading this effort is the percussive talent of Howard Stern personality Richard Christy, providing the band with an ever-important strong backbone. Not to say the vocals of the legendary Tim “Ripper” Owens are second-rate in Charred Walls of the Damned; his operatic range is an absolute necessity and a priceless asset to the group.

8. Exodus – Exhibit B: The Human Condition Vocalist Rob Dukes really comes into his own here, reverberating with a harsh and menacing tone that sits squarely between former singer’s Steve Souza and Paul Baloff while the rhythmsection pound out a flurry of the blistering and brutal tempos that Exodus helped to spawn nearly 30 years ago (“Burn, Hollywood, Burn”). Chock full of neck-snapping fretwork, jackhammer rhythms, and dizzying thrash metal expedience, the latest affair from Exodus portrays what the epitome of thrash metal excellence sounds like and is a must-listen disc for any self-respecting headbanger.

9. Accept – Blood of the NationsDespite massive shakeups and the decade-plus long studio layoff, Acceptsounds as determined and rejuvenated as ever, retaining their vintage musical bite while exhibiting a hard rock snarl that finds Tornillo formidably projecting an Udo-like presence while interjecting slices of his vocal personality into Accept’s tried and true slabs of concrete hard rock seasonedwith the contagious songwriting that puts this troupe squarely in the annals of metal history. This disc truly has everything a fan would want in a comeback album and more.

10. Living Sacrifice – The Infinite Order The riffs of Rocky Gray and Bruce Fitzhugh gallop with the raw power that we used to worship Pantera for, while also offering a speedier as well as a morealternative feel. It is unfortunate that the younger bands these days can’t pull this off correctly, or at least to a satisfactory level. The more sentimental tracks “God is my Home” and “Love Forgives” contain great feel-good tones while tracks like “Overkill Exposure” and “Organized Lie” kick your teeth in without remorse. The Infinite Order was the first solid metal album of 2010.

Well, those were my favorite albums from 2010. I knocked off a couple from the mid-year edition for lack of staying power and even bumped a couple up. 2010 was a another great year for hard rock music especially in the first few months. There were also notable releases from Ozzy with Firewind shredder Gus G., Rob Zombie and his Hellbilly sequel, and a refreshingly stripped down Korn. Other cool releases include the latest efforts from Soilwork, White Chapel, The Scorpions, and Ratt. Feel free to spew your hatred below.

Finals

Well the time has come around once again.. Every student, well I guess not every student, knows that this is the week of finals. And well my complaint is not on the finals themselves, but on everyone who complains about them. I'm not sure why everyone likes to make such a big stink and complain about them, it's no surprise, they happen every semester. Plus the material that is being covered you have been learning about for the past couple months! Have you noticed that the only people who complain are the bad kids who didn't pay attention all year (or the kids who complain just for the sake of complaining/ complain so that they do better than they think/ to fit in) and yes I'm speaking from experience. See if you're a good student and actually learn like you're supposed to, this test would be no big deal and there would be no need to complain or stress out. It's yourself who has done this, no on else, not your teachers, but it is always easier to blame the man right. It's just the best when people take them so seriously and say I'm just going to wear sweatpants so it looks like I am a hardcore student and have been studying all night. But we all know the truth. So I encourage you be a good student, like me and stop making fake stress for yourself, for whatever reason.

Novels

So lately I have been reading a novel for school. And the more I read it the more I realize how dumb novels are, and how overrated they are by the people who read them. First of all, the particular one I'm reading is trying to point out the problems in society and the human race in general, but my issue with the story is that it is all made up and I'm sure half the people who have read the story haven't even picked up on the points he was making. He's trying to be a rebel and show everyone up, by making up a story that doesn't even have that good of a plot and putting meaning to it. Maybe I have came to this conclusion from analyzing it to much, but come on. I don't think I will ever figure out why when people want to state their opinions on things, they will write a whole made up, boring story about it and hope that everyone gets what they are saying. In my mind it makes much more sense to, I don't know, just write a book about your opinions without making it fictional. I know that doesn't sound like as much fun but reading a boring story isn't much fun either and at least it would be shorter!
Another thing I have been wanting to say on this subject is that kids these days read the stupidest books! Also, people will write stupid books but then there are always some kid who decides to read it, just for fun. I mean who really wants to read a depressing book about a kid in an orphanage, that someone made up and isn't real at all, just so you can know what it would be like to be an orphan and have a good cry.. Um no thank you! That sounds like such a waste of time yet kids read this stuff and find it fun. Not to mention they will feel better about themselves because they read a book and they think they learned something, and they will say instead of going and seeing a movie I read a book, that was probably written at a seventh grade reading level. I understand that to some people writing is like their art but I feel like half the people putting books out shouldn't. And they wouldn't if it weren't for the dumb kids who read them.

Unthanksgiving

Well it's thanksgiving. In the spirit of rebellion and my teenage angst I'm going to blog about what I'm unthankful for. One. Cinnamon, my guinea pig, I am not thankful for you, what so ever. Two. The fall of man, I know it had to happen sometime, but I think things might have gone easier if it didn't. Three. High School, it is a waste of my time and I think I could of came out a lot better, as a person, if it wasn't a apart of my life. I guess I could go on, but I wouldn't want to offend anybody. See my life is just so great that it was just a lot easier to say what I'm not thankful for, thats the point I guess. I live a wonderful life ;)

Backpack

This is more of a complaint or maybe I should say a disappointment. Currently my backpack is missing.. I have looked and called everywhere, in search of it and I haven't found it anywhere. I honestly think it might have been stolen. NO joke. If I don't find it soon I will be really mad! I never forget it anywhere and the one time I do it gets stolen. I love my backpack and it had some pretty important things in it.. hmmm. MY BOOK! The person that stole it is an idiot.. steeling a backpack how could you be so low. My home work was in it too. Not as important but still. It also had a book I was reading in it. Now I can't read it, until I buy a new book. This is so dumb and gay. Who knows maybe I'll find it in the next couple days. It was probably my fault but if it was stolen then I'll blame it on the gay person that steels a backpack. So currently I have a pause on my book.. until further notice.

Page 18: Rock On

This one is in respects to policemen everywhere. Honestly, I like the police they make me happy. So in this picture even though they are going to arrest this guy for doing what he did (because he of course didn't get hurt), they still respect it and think it's cool (hence the hands). See cops are cool and can rock and roll too!

Page 17: Stop

So this one is the most obvious out of all my pictures. It's of course about abortion and stopping it. It's funny though because people feel so proud because they know what it means but that's only because I made it so obvious! That's okay though I'll let people feel good about themselves for a while.

Page 17: Tolerance

This picture exercises my views on tolerance. See even though tolerance preaches to accept everyone's beliefs, if you aren't tolerant they won't like you. So this picture shows that everyone in the back thinks the same and its great.. and the the people that think differently are in the wild beyond the gates. One get electrocuted as he has changed his ways and those who have thought differently all along are sucked up into a tornado. It's sad new but its true. (everything in this picture is important see what you can notice).

Page 16: Oppression

Our dear America is sinking, no hope left. And what is Obama doing.. just riding, hiding away on his surf board of oppression. So him, trying to be cool even though he's just making things worse. The world is coming to an end with the weirdest sun (moon) set we have ever seen. While some people are trying to find the answers, others just give up, but either way we all just float, and it's okay.

Page 15: Man

This picture is designed to give you a sense of destiny. The man here came out of the of the ground where he was once dead, now alive he is brought into a knew understanding. Not only of the world around him but he himself.  There are things he has never seen before, codes, soon read clear but not for long. As the stealth hand of death reaches out to catch his heal. In the mist of it all, he stands, silent, waiting.

Page 14: Maddie

Maddie. The beautiful woman driving this haulin' truck is my beloved sister. Every year, around Christmas time, she just has such a heart for giving. Yeah that truck it is full of presents and those trees, they didn't decorate themselves, she did. All the children are in awe of the great things she does and look up to her with respect. She may come off tough but she is a softy at heart and is always looking out for others.

Page 13: Orgins

This one has to be one of my favorites. This explains what happened to the world when metal was created. It was new to people and all they could do was point. Humans were once again like cavemen, slow without any understanding. The world was flipped upside down with the ocean in the sky. The mountains on which they stood were cracked, color came forth. And this is how it all began.

Page 12: Mr. Mailman

The inspiration from this one comes from one of my personal favorite lil wayne songs that say "I'm gonna pick the world up and drop it on your f$$$ing head." But in this case it is the mailman who is going to pick up the moon and drop it on your head. What little wayne said doesn't make any sense and this doesn't either.. he's standing in the ocean for crying out loud. The rainbow doesn't have any significant meaning it's just funny.

Page 9, 10, 11: Butterflies

The next three pages are attributed to all the stupid teenage love songs that have to do with butterflies. I mean it's hilarious, these songs are so dumb and people take them so seriously. Anyways these pictures were made to make fun of them (see what you can notice), along with beautiful, heart wrenching lyrics by your very own Aaron Buchanan. Thank You.

Page 8: McDonalds

Well, this picture is a tribute to McDonalds. I personally love this place, its cheep and gets the job done. In the picture thats me sitting and then the other guy is my favorite manager (Montgomery & Wyoming). See the cow is looking at what is happening, me eating a burger, and really doesn't care because he isn't smart enough to. And that is why we shouldn't feel bad about eating meat.

CINNAMON

I thought it would be appropriate to write a post on the biggest complaint of my life. I think I complain everyday, pretty much, about him. It is my guinea pig named Cinnamon. I got him when I was nine for my birthday, at the time he was little and cute and so was I. He has grown like twice as big as when we first got him. I thought animals were great and I loved him very much, but that idea didn't last long. Soon he got annoying, really, really, really ANNOYING! It didn't take that long either. I thought that oh guinea pigs don't last long he's old he will die any day now.... I have been telling my self that for at least 4 years now! He is invincible and keeps living just to make my life horrible.
This is what he does. When ever I'm trying to sleep or do anything, he squeaks, and it is a squeak that drives me crazy, literally. I can't stand the sound of it at all and the only way to shut him up is feeding him. The worst part is he's picky, he's an animal for crying out loud, he should not have the right to be picky! So he will keep squeaking until I give him food he wants. So to spite him sometimes I feed him weird stuff and he eats it... Once I fed him a jalapeno, a habanero, and some ham, he ate it all. The ironic thing is that he is this massive pain, beast of a guinea pig and his name is Cinnamon.
So in conclusion I HATE HIM and I'm not sure if he will die of old age.. hint, hint.

Page 7: The Wall

In all honesty, this picture really doesn't have much meaning. In a way it's making fun of how teenagers and people idolize celebrities and put pictures of them on their walls, but its mostly just kinda funny. I like it though because everyone always asks who's that guy (on the right) and I really have no idea who he is at all.

Page 6: My World

This is the ideal image of the world according to me. In my mind life is dandy and full of peace and love. The man in the picture is looking at the world through my eyes and is speechless. He has never seen the world and is enlightened and astonished, in a good way. Now that he has this perspective he can get on with his life.

Page 5: Destiny

This young lady is currently in the U.S. Navy, however, she feels as though the wind is calling her elsewhere. As she looks for meaning in her life, she stares into the deep passion of the moon. Suddenly thunder claps and there is a bolt of lightening. Her destiny is revealed to her and her purpose in life is complete. She goes on to do great things to benefit humanity.

Page 4: LIFE

This picture is about how towards the end of this man's life he is finally realizing that life is just a big explosion. His life was very action pact and without much meaning. It's not like his life was awful he just came to the conclusion that it could have been better. In this is a lesson for us all life isn't fair but we just have to know that and get over it.

Page 3: Oprah

Incase you can't read... the caption on the picture says, "Elephants are very familial and appear to mourn their dead. If they find elephant bones, they gently examine the skull." Well the elephant is gently examining Oprah's skull, and you must not forget what the elephant stands for in politics... or the what the colors stand for in the background. Oprah is saying whatever to the elephant because it can't hurt her, in her mind.

Page 2: This is My Car

Well, first of all this is my car, but it also alludes to my political views. See the man in my passenger seat... see that I'm not in the car... the background. I have said to much already, hopefully you have gotten the point.

Page 1: Chemistry

This is page one of this whole sha-bang. I decided to attribute my first page to chemistry. I understand very well that the picture I cut out is supposed to mean something bad, however, I like it. The caption says, "Better things for better living through chemistry." If you think about it, in a non messed up way, these words ring very true. Chemistry helps us in many ways and does help society have a better life, even if you like it or not, there is no way around it. So take what ever you want from it I could care more, and enjoy.

Valerie Kim

Ok all today I have been watching video after video of Valerie Kim and her sister Dominique. She is probably my favorite person in the world right now. She is this scary violinist that is only like twelve years old. The songs she chooses to play are so attractive  and you could almost cry they're so pretty. I was literally almost crying out of pure enjoyment and unbelief. Every video I watched made me yell, "OH MY GOODNESS!" I like it because she has given me a knew name to drop every once in a while along with her sister who doesn't get as much credit as her ever.
If you have nothing better to do or just need to smile look up Valerie Kim on youtube and you will quickly be happy. She will blow you to tears out of pure amazement. Then you too can name drop her all the time and feel cool.

Balloon Fiesta

So these past weeks there has been the glorious balloon fiesta here in Albuquerque. Let me just say not so glorious especially when the day you decide to go to the actual field it is to windy and don't even fly the dumb balloons. I wouldn't be so bitter about this if: 1. there weren't so many people, 2. the food wasn't so expensive, and 3. there weren't children running around wild, crying EVERYWHERE! So I understand that the balloon fiesta is the only thing that brings people to New Mexico, but it seems to bring so of the weirdest rudest people- tourists and a bunch of them. I'm not used to these people and all they want are frappuccinos hot. When I went all I wanted to do was eat, but that was not a very good option because there were long lines everywhere and the food was way over priced. I spent my time waiting in line for a burger that wasn't very good and I could have gotten for a dollar instead of six. I would rant about the children, but I think any sensible person could understand this one.
This is what I advise. If you want to go to the balloon fiesta, go but don't go to the actual field. Wake up early drive around, get a breakfast burrito, get your coffee. On your own time and at your own preferred price. Go with some one you love and it could be romantic.

How it came to be.

So I started a book a while back of just funny pictures that I create out of boredom. I enjoy putting extravagant meanings to each of the pictures and I would like others to get enjoyment out of them. Also, I would like to note that the each picture essentially has no meaning, I just put meaning to them so please do not be offended by what they come out to be. That is part one of this whole sha-bang. Then part two comes from my ability to notice annoying flaws in almost anything. I think they are funny and would like others to take notice in the things that make me tick.
